DESCRIPTION:

This is a debugging contest wherein you are asked to debug code for a specified problem. The event shall be held on a two-tier base. The first round shall be an objective round for basic C/C++ ability lasting 20 minutes. Qualifying teams will engage in subsequent debugging and code-breaking rounds.

Compiler Used: Turbo C 3.0
Course of the event: Each team will have 2 members.

Event Details

Main Attraction: Cash-prizes and Certificates for participants finishing first and second in the final round.

PRELIMS (20 MINS):
In the first round, all participating teams will undergo a test consisting of 20 multiple choice questions. The questions will test the team member's working knowledge of C/C++. There will be negative marking in this round. The top 8 teams, who have the highest scores at the end of this round, will qualify for the second round.

FINALS (60 MINS):

The finals comprise of three sub-rounds:
a) Guessing the type of errors and their rectification.
b) Para-Jumbled lines of codes to be rearranged in order specified and,
c) Hardcore Programming in addition to Debugging.

NOTE:
a)Points would be awarded on the basis of time taken, amount of code that
has been changed.
b)Decision of the judges would be final and abiding.
